For more than 50 years, the Bayou City Art Festival has been a bi-annual, fine art festival produced by The Art Colony Association, Inc., (501) (c).

The Bayou City Art Festival - Memorial Park, consistently ranked nationally as a top 10 fine art festivals, takes place every March inside beautiful Memorial Park, in the heart of Houston, Texas.

The Bayou City Art Festival - Downtown, currently ranked 11th in the nation, is recognized as a signature art event for the City of Houston and takes place each October inside Sam Houston Park in downtown Houston, Texas.

• The Bayou City Art Festivals are outdoor, juried fine art festivals with a proven history of record sales and attendance for artists representing 19 different disciplines of art.

• In order to participate, artists must first submit a Zapplication for each festival. (Application dates and deadlines will be listed on our website throughout the year).

• Once the deadline for artist applications has passed for either event, all submissions for that particular event are reviewed and scored by an independent panel of jurors.

• Once the jury has tabulated their scores, the 300 artists with the highest jury scores are then invited to participate in the upcoming festival​
