Bayou City Art Festival Middle School Art Competition 2027

This year’s theme “A World of Possibilities” invites students to imagine a world beyond the limits of what already exists. Create a place, experience, invention, creature, community, or future that could exist only through your imagination. What would you change, create, or discover if anything were possible?

We cannot wait to celebrate their creativity at our Gallery Reception in February, where every submitted piece is honored. From there, the top 30 artworks will be showcased at the Bayou City Art Festival Downtown on April 3–4, giving students a rare opportunity to have their work seen by thousands of art lovers.

Registration is now open through January 8th, 2027

Artwork submission will take place January 29-30, 2027
